Our 2015-2016 Visual Artist

 

david smallUtah Chamber Artists is pleased to partner with letterpress artist, David Wolske for our 2015-2016 concert season. His prints have been shown all over Salt Lake City and he was recently awarded the prestigious Visual Arts Fellowship from the Utah Division of Arts & Museums.

David Wolske is the cofounder of Smart & Wiley and an award winning graphic designer, typographer, and artist. He is the Creative Director for the Book Arts Program and Red Butte Press at the J. Willard Marriott Library, The University of Utah. David has taught design, typography, and letterpress printing at Indiana University, Herron School of Art and Design, Columbia College Chicago’s Center for Book and Paper Arts, Hamilton Wood Type and Printing Museum, and The University of Utah.

Utah Chamber Artists was fortunate to have David create new work specifically for our 25th Season highlighting each concert.
