While there, he was the Music Director of the Lone Mountain Stake Choir and Orchestra. In 2010 he moved back to Utah and resumed singing with UCA. As part of his UCA experience, he has performed with the Utah Symphony and the Boston Pops. Jared has also moonlighted as a back-up singer and vocalist with a number of artists and musicians including Keith Lockheart, The Chieftains, Kurt Bestor, Elaine Paige, John Schmidt, Jenny Oaks Baker and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
